Clarity Waypoint Studio Limited opened on Caine Road to give Hong Kong traders a place to study volume profile and market structure without the noise of signal rooms.
Official name and origin
The registered business name is Clarity Waypoint Studio Limited. The studio was established in 2016 after years of informal chart clinics held after the Hong Kong cash close. Founder and lead instructor Julian Cho began teaching volume profile to a handful of futures traders who wanted annotated homework rather than broadcast commentary.
By 2018 the group had outgrown borrowed meeting rooms. The current studio at Wai Yan Fong keeps a small library of printed session profiles, copper desk instruments for measuring chart prints, and seats for eight—enough for conversation, not a lecture hall.
How we work
Sessions stay close to the chart in front of you. We mark high-volume nodes, unfinished auctions, and swing liquidity by hand before discussing trade management. Software is a canvas; the craft is deciding which levels deserve attention on tomorrow’s open.
We teach discretionary traders who already understand candlesticks and basic risk. We do not sell signals, manage accounts, or promise returns. Progress is measured in clearer markups and fewer impulsive opens.
