Client notes on profile and structure work

Short reflections from traders who completed intensives, mapping sessions, mentorship, or the weekend clinic. Names appear as provided for publication.

“I finally stopped guessing at random support lines. The intensive forced me to mark value areas every evening, and by week three my hang-ups around overnight gaps were quieter—though I still rush the open when volume spikes.”

Mei Ling Cheung · Discretionary futures trader, Kowloon · Volume Profile Intensive

“The private mapping session on cable was blunt in a useful way. Adrian walked my last twelve swings and showed where I had ignored equal lows. One sitting did more than months of scattered YouTube notes.”

Adrian Vos · FX desk, Central · Market Structure Mapping

“Submitting a weekly chart pack kept me honest. The written markups caught when I called a break of structure without volume confirmation. The calls are short, which I prefer.”

Priya Nair · Part-time equity trader · Chart Review Mentorship

“The Saturday clinic on opening range inventory was dense. I left with three annotated days and a clearer sense of when to stand aside after a thin lunch profile.”

Thomas Lau · Prop firm trainee · Weekend Structure Clinic

“The homework chart packs were demanding, and I appreciated that the office hour after the series was calm rather than salesy. I still struggle with composite profiles on holiday weeks, but the framework holds.”

Elena Marchetti · Independent trader, Mid-Levels · Volume Profile Intensive

From scattered lines to nightly value marks

A Kowloon-based futures trader entered the Volume Profile Intensive after months of drawing horizontal supports that broke without warning. During session two she mapped three consecutive Hang Seng index futures days and discovered her “supports” sat in low-volume shelves. Homework required marking VA high, VA low, and POC before each open.

By session four her charts showed fewer lines and clearer nodes. She still noted a habit of chasing thin overnight prints—an open issue she raised in the office hour. The studio’s role was instruction and review, not trade supervision; she kept her own risk rules throughout.

Equal lows on a Central FX desk

A cable trader booked a single Market Structure Mapping sitting to review twelve recent swings. The session spent the first forty minutes on equal lows he had treated as noise. After marking liquidity pools beneath those equals, the remaining time tested whether volume confirmed the eventual break. He left with a one-page checklist rather than a new indicator stack.
